Picture frame in wood

A wooden picture frame, and especially an oak frame, is very commonly used in interior design. The benefit of an oak frame is that it is easily combined with several different interior styles, for instance rustic, bohemian or modern industrial styles. If you pair the type of wood of the frame with the other interior you will get a beautiful and consonant result.

A wooden frame is a very commonly used frame type and it can contribute with beautiful natural tones to a room. Adding elements from nature into a room can create harmony and tranquility. You can match the wooden frame with for instance similar types of wood in other furniture, or allow several wooden frames in the same material be the only element of wood in your decor. You can match it with otherwise green, brown, gray and black colors - which together create a very natural color scale.

Wooden frames can be used in very flexible ways and fit in many different interior styles. For example, if you have an industrial interior design style, wood together with metal and black furniture can create a rustic feeling. If on the other hand you have a country style, and especially in Mediterranean-inspired country styles, then wood frames can also fit well with the style. Minimalist, bohemian and vintage styles are more examples of where wood can fit in well with the interior. In all these cases wood is often a beautiful addtion to the wall and especially when they match other types of wood in the room or are the only type of wood used. It is of course possible to vary types of wood, but too many different types of wood can create incoherent rooms.
